I got to enjoy the street food stylings of Cebu Philippines. Depending on what part of Cebu I was in, there was always some delicious new side quest waiting for me around the corner. Specifically the street food. There’s a lot of variety to be had here with the kinds of street food offerings that’re for sale daily. What kept me coming back to street food here was the inexpensiveness of the meals & of course the taste.

I found that street food like these are 50% or more affordable than dining franchise establishments in the city. 1 serving of rice & 1 piece of fried chicken cost me around $2.03. This pack of ube coconut cheese rolls cost me $0.85. And these kinds of make shift street food vendors are sprinkled all throughout the city. Real light on my wallet, big on taste & always an adventure when braving the street food wilds of Cebu.

However I’ll note that during my stay in Cebu I developed a stint of wildly loose & wet bowel movements. But I’m not afraid to go all-in, especially when I got pocket Aces. With that being said, if I return to the Philippines again It’ll be my pleasure to sample more affordable delicious street food.
